Who We Are Metrolinx’s GO Expansion program is delivering more GO service across the network, including the capacity to deliver two-way service every 15 minutes or better on core routes. Work is already underway on new track, station renovations and infrastructure upgrades on parts of the Lakeshore, Stouffville, Kitchener and Barrie lines. The ONxpress Civil Joint Venture is comprised of Aecon Infrastructure Management Inc. and FCC Canada Ltd.

This multidisciplinary team leads the delivery of civil and track works, leveraging global expertise to introduce cutting-edge solutions across the GO Transit network. Act as the focal point for gathering relevant information and drafting formal letters, position papers and commercial notices. Support and work alongside the procurement team, advising them on risk mitigations, value-for money approach and ‘best-for-project’ approach.

Demonstrate a ‘big-picture- approach and high personal responsibility in coordinating tasks and ensuring smooth project operations.

Utilize

Excel for advanced data management Ensure commercial requirements are met and all necessary stakeholders are cc’d in communications. Draft formal letters and other correspondence as needed. Coordinate tasks and responsibilities, ensuring smooth project operations.

Attend and contribute to kick-off meetings with the construction and technical teams. Receive and manage claims from subcontractors, compiling and reviewing claims reports.



3+ years of experience in related field. ~ Education in law, Civil Engineering, construction discipline or related field preferred. ~ Experience with bridge or rail projects is a plus. ~ Proven ability to coordinate with project coordinators, finance, cost control, technical, procurement, design, and investigation teams. ~ Ability to read, understand and comment on commercial principles of construction agreements. ~ In addition to base salary ONxpress also offers a comprehensive medical and dental program, RRSP with company matching and the potential to participate in our discretionary, performance based bonus program.
