About Speech Ally Inc.

Speech Ally Inc. is a pediatric speech therapy clinic serving children and families across the Greater Toronto Area. Our practice is grounded in neurodiversity-affirming, family-centered, and evidence-based care. We support children with speech sound disorders, language delays, social communication differences, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), motor speech disorders, AAC needs, and literacy challenges.

We collaborate closely with families, educators, and interdisciplinary teams to support meaningful communication and participation across environments.

We are seeking passionate, collaborative, and skilled Speech-Language Pathologists to join our growing team.

Position Overview

This independent contractor role offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to provide services in our clinic, within community settings (e.g., daycare/school), and in clients’ homes.

The SLP will conduct assessments, develop individualized therapy plans, and provide evidence-based intervention while supporting families through coaching and cooperative care.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct speech and language assessments using standardized and informal measures
- Develop individualized, functional treatment plans using evidence-based practices
- Establish and implement SMART therapy goals
- Provide one-on-one pediatric therapy sessions (clinic, community, and/or home-based)
- Support AAC implementation and functional communication development when appropriate
- Provide parent coaching and caregiver education to support carryover
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and progress notes
- Collaborate with families,



educators, and other professionals as needed
- Participate in team collaboration and ongoing clinical learning

Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active registration and good standing with College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario
- Professional liability insurance
- Vulnerable Sector Screening
- Strong pediatric assessment and intervention skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications & Assets
- Experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
- Experience with speech sound disorders, language delays, and social communication
- Experience supporting AAC and functional communication
- Training in Hanen programs (e.g., More Than Words®, TalkAbility™), PECS®, PROMPT, or motor speech approaches
- Experience providing services in home, daycare, or school settings
- Strong parent coaching and family collaboration skills

Schedule & Flexibility
- Monday to Friday availability
- After-school hours (3:30–7:00 PM) preferred
- Saturday availability is considered an advantage.
- Flexible scheduling to support work-life balance

Compensation Competitive contractor rates commensurate with experience, training, and credentials.

Location

Clinic: Scarborough, ON (M1T area)

Community Services: Mainly around Scarborough, North York and Markham and surrounding areas. (homes, daycares, schools)

Reliable transportation is preferred for community visits.

Job Types: Part-time, Full-time, Casual

Pay: $90.00-$110.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
