Position SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Software Developer with strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and Distributed Systems. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, deploying, and supporting scalable backend applications and APIs within a cloud-native environment. This role requires hands-on experience with modern software development practices, production troubleshooting, and collaboration across cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise-grade backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Build and support scalable microservices and RESTful APIs in a distributed systems architecture.
- Design and implement service-to-service communication patterns, error handling mechanisms, and resilient application architectures.
- Develop, integrate, and troubleshoot REST APIs for internal and external system integrations.
- Work with Kafka-based event-driven architectures, including publishing and consuming events, monitoring message processing, and troubleshooting integration issues.
- Design and optimize Cassandra data models, queries, and database structures to ensure high performance and scalability.
- Deploy, configure, and support applications running in Kubernetes environments using Helm charts and deployment configurations.
- Monitor application health, analyze logs, and troubleshoot production and non-production issues across multiple services and environments.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to improve system reliability and performance.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to established coding standards, design principles, and development best practices.
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, and development teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Manage application configurations and environment-specific deployments across development, testing, and production environments.




- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on software development experience using Java.
- Strong expertise in:
- Java (Object-Oriented Programming, Collections Framework, Streams, Exception Handling)
- Spring Boot
- Microservices Architecture
- RESTful API Design and Development
- Distributed Systems
- Git-Based Source Control

- Experience with Cassandra, including:

- Data Modeling
- Partition Keys and Clustering Columns
- Query Optimization
- TTL Management
- Distributed Database Concepts

- Experience working with Kubernetes, including:

- Deployments
- Services
- Pods
- Configuration Management
- Helm Charts

- Solid understanding of software design patterns and development best practices.
- Experience troubleshooting complex application and integration issues in multi-service environments.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with Apache Kafka and event-driven architectures.
- Experience with Dynatrace or similar application performance monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
- Experience supporting cloud-native and containerized applications.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
