Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Steel Fabricator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming raw steel materials into precise, high-quality components and structures. Your expertise in welding, machining, and blueprint reading will ensure that all projects meet strict safety standards and quality specifications.

Responsibilities

- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately fabricate steel components.
- Operate various power tools, hand tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and welding equipment including MIG and TIG welders to shape and assemble steel parts.
- Use calipers, measuring tapes, and other precision instruments to ensure dimensional accuracy of fabricated pieces.
- Perform rigging tasks to safely lift, position, and secure heavy steel structures using cranes or forklifts.
- Cut, bend, drill, and assemble steel components for ductwork, structural frameworks, or custom fabrications according to project specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to all safety protocols related to welding, machining,



and heavy machinery operation.
- Collaborate with team members on assembly processes and troubleshoot fabrication issues efficiently.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in steel fabrication or related manufacturing environments with construction or industrial projects.
- Strong mechanical knowledge including the use of hand tools, power tools, calipers, schematics, and blueprint reading.
- Skilled in MIG welding and TIG welding techniques with the ability to produce high-quality welds that meet safety standards.
- Familiarity with plasma cutting machines, press brake machines, and machining equipment.
- Ability to operate cranes, forklifts, and rigging gear safely for lifting heavy steel components.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.
- Knowledge of ductwork assembly and construction experience is a plus.
- Valid certification in welding or fabrication-related disciplines is preferred but not mandatory.
