Duties

- Create detailed structural drawings and schematics using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, and SolidWorks
- Develop accurate 2D and 3D models of structural components for various projects, ensuring compliance with engineering standards and client specifications
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to interpret design concepts and translate them into accurate technical drawings
- Utilize SketchUp and NavisWorks for visualization, clash detection, and coordination across disciplines
- Prepare detailed construction documents that include assembly instructions, material specifications, and installation guidelines
- Review and revise drawings based on feedback, site conditions,



or updated project requirements
- Assist in the development of schematics for structural systems and contribute to drafting workflows that enhance project efficiency

Skills

- Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, SolidWorks, SketchUp, NavisWorks, and Civil 3D
- Strong understanding of drafting standards, schematics development, and construction documentation processes
- Experience with structural detailing for various types of projects—commercial, industrial, or infrastructure—preferably with hands-on construction experience
- Knowledge of building codes, safety standards, and engineering principles related to structural design
- Ability to interpret architectural plans and technical specifications accurately
- Familiarity with 2D animation tools is a plus for creating dynamic visual presentations of structural concepts
