The Role and Your Typical Day

At Ironwood Management, we simplify real estate investing by combining expert management with value-add investment opportunities. We are seeking a summer finance intern to assist on acquisition/deal flow, portfolio tracking, and general office assistance.

Your daily responsibilities will include the following tasks:

- Create proformas for all potential real estate acquisitions.
- Conduct lease reviews for acquisitions.
- Provide acquisition support.
- Develop internal portfolio cash flow projections and project new cash flow based on upcoming leases.
- Track portfolio vacancy and gather reports from property managers and brokers regarding portfolio leasing activity.
- Assist with general accounting, filing, and data entry.

performance management, and feedback. You will work directly with our management and analytics team, receiving mentorship and guidance throughout your term. We focus on fostering a collaborative environment where you can develop a deep understanding of our business and the assets we manage.

Candidate Qualifications To be considered for this position, the expected qualifications are:

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Actively in University or recently graduated.
- Actively pursuing a CFA designation is preferred.
- Must be a Canadian citizen.
