The Grand Falls-Windsor Heritage Society is seeking a Foreman/Supervisor for the construction of a wagon display building on our property. This position is funded through the Job Creation Partnerships (JCP) program.

Term is for 8-10 weeks with anticipated start date as soon as possible.

Duties: Successful applicants will oversee day-to-day work on site and co-ordinate project activities.

Eligibility: Must be a resident of Newfoundland & Labrador; be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident legally entitled to work in Canada; be approved by the department under Section 25 of the Employment Insurance Act as insured participants who are active EI claimants; have an employment plan that identifies this work experience as supporting a reasonable occupational goal

Qualifications: Experience in construction, carpentry, or related work; ability to supervise staff and co-ordinate work activities; good organizational and communication skills; ability to work independently and as part as a team; knowledge of safe work practices.
