We are currently hiring a Production Associate to support wire and cable operations in a busy warehouse/manufacturing environment. This role involves measuring, cutting, and preparing cable orders for shipment. It's a great fit for someone who enjoys hands-on work, has strong attention to detail, and is comfortable working in a rapid-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sort and organize cable by size and type
- Measure and cut wire/cable to specified lengths based on order requirements
- Strip insulation and remove outer casing as needed
- Package and prepare completed orders for shipping
- Follow work instructions and production schedules
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a warehouse, production, or general labour role is an asset
- Comfortable using basic math for measurements and accuracy
- CSA-approved steel-toed boots required
- Able to lift up to 40 lbs on a regular basis
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Criminal background check required
