We are looking for a part time contractor to work closely with our families. We have a family-centered approach and value finding the perfect fit! Students are welcome to apply as clients are mostly available weekday evenings with the option of scheduling visits on weekends.

A time commitment between 5-10 hours/week is required. This is inclusive of in-person sessions twice a week and time to prep/create materials. We are currently seeking a candidate to match with a client in the NE community of Coventry Hills.

Responsibilities

- Coaching families and building capacity
- Modelling therapy strategies provided by Clinician/Team Lead
- Directly facilitating sessions to children
- Advocating for child’s needs
- Creating appropriate session plans following Clinician guidance

Qualifications





- Independent and also works well as part of a team
- Previous experience working with children and families with special needs
- Valid Alberta Driver’s License and Vehicle
- Demonstrates cultural competency and a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion

Travel time will be compensated up to 30 minutes of pay for each session.

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $23.00-$25.00 per hour
