Responsibilities

- Own software V&V; strategy and execution for the next-generation surgical robotics platform
- Develop test protocols, traceability matrices and verification reports under IEC 62304 / ISO 13485
- Partner with robotics, embedded and clinical engineering on requirements decomposition and risk control
- Support FDA, Health Canada and notified body submissions and audits
- Drive automation of V&V; execution and on-robot regression testing




- Coach engineers across the platform on regulated software development good practice

Requirements

- 7+ years of V&V; or design assurance in surgical robotics, medical devices or regulated MedTech
- Solid working knowledge of IEC 62304, ISO 13485, ISO 14971 and FDA software submissions
- Hands-on experience writing and executing test protocols against complex robotic systems
- Solid understanding of robotics, kinematics and embedded real-time software
- Track record supporting FDA / Health Canada / CE submissions for robotic platforms
- Bachelor's or Master's in Robotics, Biomedical, Electrical or Software Engineering
