Responsibilities

- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with the kitchen staff
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while maintaining balanced registers
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are upheld during food handling and preparation processes
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed to support kitchen operations and maintain quality standards
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently while maintaining high service standards
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, utensils, and service stations in compliance with sanitation guidelines
- Provide excellent guest services by addressing questions,



resolving issues promptly, and creating a welcoming environment

Skills

- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, with a solid understanding of hospitality principles
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cashiering functions
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts
- Knowledge of food handling, safety protocols, sanitation practices, and basic math for transactions and inventory checks
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and effective communication abilities
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest experience and restaurant revenue
- Previous kitchen experience or food industry background is a plus but not required; eagerness to learn is essential
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
