Duties

- Greet guests warmly and provide detailed menu explanations, highlighting the unique features of Japanese BBQ cuisine
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS, ensuring timely and correct delivery
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and presentation
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
- Monitor guest needs throughout their dining experience, providing prompt assistance and personalized service
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations and restaurant policies




- Assist in food preparation or kitchen support as needed to ensure smooth restaurant operations

Qualifications
- Previous food service experience in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality workplace is highly preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Knowledge of POS systems, especially Micros POS, is advantageous
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently without compromising quality
- Basic math skills for billing, cash handling, and order accuracy
- Understanding of food safety protocols and proper sanitation procedures
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining a positive attitude
- Experience with food handling, serving, or restaurant operations is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and restaurant revenue
