Andorix

North York

Reports to: Sales Leader

Location: Toronto, Ontario. Hybrid, with regular time on site at client offices and properties.

Entity: Andorix Canada

Account focus: A major institutional real estate client

Status: Full time, permanent

About the role

Andorix is hiring a Technical Account Manager to own the day-to-day relationship with one of our most important clients, a major institutional real estate investment, operating and development company with a large and growing portfolio across Canada and internationally. The work we do for them spans multiple active projects and an ongoing service relationship.

This role is the connective tissue between the client and our internal teams. You will track the projects we are delivering, keep open issues moving to resolution, and make sure the client always knows where things stand.

You will also own new business within the account. This client is a strong supporter of Andorix and regularly brings opportunities to us. We need someone who picks those up, runs them properly and closes them. We need a person who owns the sales process end to end, from first conversation through scoping, proposal, pricing, negotiation and signature, and who follows through without dropping anything.

This is not a deeply technical engineering role. You need to be technical enough to hold a credible conversation about IT projects, understand what our teams are building, and translate that into language a business audience understands. What matters more is that you are an outstanding communicator who builds trust quickly, presents well and follows through without being chased.

What you will do

Project tracking and delivery

- Maintain a clear, current view of every active project we are running for the client, including scope, timeline, dependencies and status.
- Run regular status reviews with the client and keep our internal teams aligned on commitments and deadlines.
- Flag risks and slippage early. Bring problems forward before they become surprises.

Issue and ticket coordination
- Act as the single point of contact for the client on unresolved issues.
- Track aging tickets through to resolution, coordinate the right internal resources, and drive escalations when something stalls.
- Keep the client informed on status without them having to ask.

Client relationship
- Build strong working relationships across the client organization, from operations teams up to senior leadership.
- Understand their business, their properties and their priorities well enough to anticipate what they need.
- Be the person the client calls first.

Communication and presentations
- Prepare and deliver account reviews, status reports and project updates.
- Support senior Andorix leaders in executive level presentations to the client, and grow into leading those conversations independently.
- Translate technical detail into clear business terms for a non-technical audience.

Sales and new business
- Own opportunities within the account from first conversation through to close. This includes qualification, scoping with our technical teams, proposal development, pricing input, negotiation and signature.
- Respond quickly and thoroughly to every opportunity the client brings us. Follow through is the single biggest thing we need to improve.
- Build and present proposals and pitches to client decision makers, including at the executive level.
- Maintain a visible pipeline of open opportunities with realistic timelines and close probability, and report on it to Andorix leadership.
- Identify additional work we are well positioned to win and bring it forward proactively.
- Support renewal and expansion conversations on existing agreements.
- Uncover opportunities with tenants inside the client’s buildings. These are separate businesses from our client and a real source of current work for Andorix. Qualify what you find, then hand it cleanly to a member of the sales team to carry forward.

What we are looking for

- Four to six years of experience in a client facing role such as account management, solution sales, business development, service delivery or project coordination, ideally within IT services, managed services, technology or a related field.
- Experience owning a sales cycle through to close. You have carried an opportunity from first conversation to signed agreement, and you can walk us through how you did it. Formal quota experience is helpful but not required.
- Robust technical literacy. You can hold your own in a conversation about IT projects, infrastructure and systems. You do not need to be an engineer, but you need to understand the work well enough to scope and sell it.
- Exceptional communication. You write clearly, present well and adjust your message to your audience.

This is the most important requirement in the role.
- Relationship builder. People trust you, come back to you and want to work with you.
- Organized and reliable. You track a lot of moving pieces without dropping any of them. You follow up. You close the loop.
- Comfortable with ambiguity. Andorix is growing and this role is new. You will help define how it works.

Nice to have

- Experience in commercial real estate, property technology, building systems or construction.
- Experience selling professional or managed services into enterprise clients.
- Familiarity with ticketing, CRM and project management tools.
- An engineering or computer science degree. We are not asking this person to design solutions, but a technical education makes it easier to speak the same language as our teams and our clients.
- Post secondary education in a technology, business or related discipline.

How we will measure success In the first year, we expect this role to deliver on six things:

- Every opportunity the client brings us gets a fast, complete response. Nothing goes cold because we did not follow up.
- New business is closed within the account against an agreed target.
- The client is satisfied with how we deliver and how we communicate.
- Projects run on schedule and issues resolve without escalation to senior leadership.
- Andorix has a clear, current and shared picture of everything happening in the account, including the open pipeline.
- Tenant opportunities inside the client’s buildings are being surfaced, qualified and handed to the sales team.

Compensation Base salary of C$80,000 to C$90,000 per year, based on experience.

Performance bonus with a target of 25 percent of base salary, paid quarterly, based on sales and client satisfaction targets. Total target compensation is approximately C$100,000 to C$112,500, with additional earnings available above target.
