Role: Technical Lead

Employment Type: Full time

Compensation: Competitive salary commensurate with experience, qualifications, and location. Indicative range: $140,000 – $210,000 (USD equivalent), plus benefits.

Role Overview

We are hiring a Technical Lead to drive technical direction across a team without taking on full management responsibility. The role combines hands-on engineering with cross-team coordination — setting the bar for code quality and unblocking the team.

Key Responsibilities

- Drive technical direction and architectural decisions for the team
- Write code on the most critical or complex parts of the system
- Lead design reviews and mentor engineers
- Partner with product on technical scoping and trade-offs
- Own technical health of the team's surface area (testing, performance, debt)
- Coordinate cross-team technical initiatives

Required Skills and Qualifications

- 6+ years in software engineering at increasing levels of seniority
- Deep technical expertise in your team's tech stack
- Track record of leading complex technical projects to completion
- Excellent written communication, including design docs and technical strategy




- Experience mentoring engineers and conducting design reviews

- Strong system design fundamentals
