Our Licensed

Technicians safely operate, repair, and maintain GFL Environmental owned commercial diesel and alternative fuel trucks, and heavy equipment to ensure its ability to operate safely.

Mentor apprentice technicians and provide training to complete their apprenticeship program. Journeyman designation or equivalent Red Seal is preferred but not required. Ability to perform CVI inspections, and familiarity with transportation regulation.

Knowledge of tools required to perform repairs and maintenance on commercial vehicles and heavy equipment. Ability to follow schedules, instructions,



technical manuals and maintenance guidelines, and other procedures associated with the maintenance of company fleet assets.

Experience using diagnostic software is preferred. Must be computer literate and willing and able to be trained in software systems. Ability to communicate effectively across various levels of the organization and communicate with customers and external vendors.
