Job Summary

We are seeking a energetic and detail-oriented Telecommunications Technician to join our team and help us build reliable, cutting-edge communication networks. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting telecommunication systems and network infrastructure. Responsibilities

- Install, configure, and troubleshoot telecommunication systems including telephony, Ethernet networks, and Cisco routers to ensure optimal performance.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of low voltage wiring, cable management, and network hardware to prevent disruptions.
- Use hand tools and mechanical knowledge to assemble, repair, and upgrade communication equipment and infrastructure components.
- Diagnose electrical issues related to telecommunication systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards and electrical codes.
- Assist in the setup of computer networking systems, including switches, routers, and firewalls, to support secure data transmission.




- Collaborate with team members to plan network layouts and implement system upgrades or expansions efficiently.
- Document all installation procedures, maintenance activities, and troubleshooting steps accurately for future reference.

Requirements

- Proven experience working with Ethernet cabling, computer networking concepts, and telecommunication systems.
- Mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience using hand tools for installation and repair tasks.
- Familiarity with low voltage wiring standards and electrical safety practices.
- Knowledge of Cisco routers, switches, and basic networking protocols such as TCP/IP.
- Experience with telephony systems including VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) technology.
- Strong electrical background with the ability to troubleshoot electrical issues related to communication hardware.
- Excellent problem-solving skills coupled with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
