Position - Testing Engineer

Location: Toronto, ON (2 days hybrid)

Contract: Long Term

We are seeking a Testing Engineer to work closely with the PO/BSA/POD teams to understand business requirements, design test plans and test cases, and participate in all aspects of testing. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with test automation, test design techniques, and working with existing automation frameworks and tools in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Work closely with PO/BSA/POD teams to understand business requirements and create test plans and test cases.
- Support the QE Lead/QE Manager with tasks and ad hoc requests as required.
- Design effective test scenarios and test cases using an automation-based approach and test design techniques.
- Leverage existing automation frameworks, tools, and artifacts to ensure testing is continuous, comprehensive, and autonomous.
- Create defects in JTMF and participate in defect triage.
- Actively contribute to test automation initiatives .
- Work autonomously in a fast-paced setting.
- Utilize Python and SQL for testing and validation.
