Job Summary

We are seeking energetic and dependable Tow Truck Operators to join our dynamic roadside assistance team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely towing and transporting vehicles that are disabled, illegally parked, or involved in accidents. Your expertise will ensure quick, efficient service while maintaining excellent customer interactions.

Duties

- Safely operate tow trucks and related equipment to recover and transport vehicles of various sizes and types.
- Assess vehicle conditions and determine the appropriate towing method, utilizing mechanical knowledge and automotive repair skills as needed.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly, professionally, and empathetically with stranded drivers and vehicle owners.
- Use forklifts or other lifting equipment when necessary to load or unload vehicles or parts securely.
- Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws during vehicle recovery operations to ensure personal safety and that of others.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all towing activities, including logs,



reports, and vehicle details.
- Conduct routine inspections of tow trucks and equipment to ensure optimal operation and compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications

- Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in automotive repair or maintenance is highly desirable.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Experience operating forklifts or similar lifting machinery is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
- Knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and proper vehicle handling techniques.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including climbing in/out of vehicles, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Prior experience as a tow truck operator or in a related roadside assistance role is preferred but not mandatory.
