Duties

- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport freight between warehouses, distribution centers, and job sites while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Conduct routine inspections of trucks and equipment to ensure proper functioning and identify maintenance needs; perform basic automotive repairs when necessary
- Handle freight documentation accurately, including manifests, delivery receipts, and shipping logs to ensure precise record-keeping
- Assist with the operation of heavy machinery for site preparation or material handling tasks as required




- Maintain safety standards by following proper procedures during equipment operation and reporting any safety hazards or incidents immediately
- Support team members with equipment setup, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and ensuring all tools are maintained in excellent condition

Skills

- Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid driver’s license suitable for operating large vehicles
- Knowledge of heavy equipment operation including loaders, excavators, or similar machinery
- Ability to perform basic automotive repairs and routine maintenance on trucks and equipment
- Robust understanding of freight handling procedures and safety protocols
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and reporting issues effectively
- Physical stamina to lift heavy loads, operate machinery for extended periods, and perform manual tasks as needed
