Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 1 commercial trucks to transport freight to designated locations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, including checking brakes, lights, tires, and load securement.
- Load and unload freight ensuring proper handling and safety protocols.
- Verify shipment documentation, including bills of lading and delivery receipts, for accuracy before dispatch.
- Maintain detailed logs of driving hours, delivery records, and vehicle maintenance reports.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams to coordinate deliveries and resolve any logistical issues promptly.
Qualifications
- Valid Class 1 commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience in commercial driving and freight delivery.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance.
Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
