Overview
We are seeking a passionate and curious tutor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be confident tutoring high school subjects. Various subject areas (ie. math, science, social studies, english, ESL) will be considered.
Responsibilities
- Traveling to and from private residences and libraries.
- Working with students with a range of personalities and learning styles.
- Communicating your availability regularly.
- Describing concepts in a variety of ways.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED.
- A flexible schedule with some availability during weekday evenings.
- Studying or completed a university degree in Education or your field of expertise. (Preferred)
- 1 year tutoring or educational experience. (Preferred)
- 1 year experience working with children, teens, or young adults. (Preferred)
