The Creator Lounge | Part-Time Studio Host & Video Editor

Pay: Depending on Experience

Schedule: 15–20 hours/week (3-hour evening studio shifts + dedicated editing hours)

About the Position The Creator Lounge is seeking a hybrid Video Editor and Studio Conceirge This is a dual-focus role designed for a skilled creator who wants hands-on studio production experience alongside structured video editing work.

You will split your responsibilities into two distinct roles: acting as the primary tech support during recording sessions, and leading post-production for both long-form and short-form video content.

Role 1: Evening Studio Host (Operations & Client Facing)

During active recording hours (6:00 PM – 9:00 PM)

- Creator Concierge: Greet podcast hosts, guest creators, and clients. Serve as the friendly, professional face of The Creator Lounge.
- Studio Setup & Support: Set up 3-camera angles, studio lighting, and audio equipment prior to client arrival. Ensure all hardware is recording properly.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Provide immediate, low-stress technical support if audio or video issues if they arise.
- Space Maintenance: Keep the lounge organized, reset gear at the end of the night, and ensure the space is pristine for morning sessions.

Role 2: Video Editor (Creative Post-Production) During downtime or dedicated editing hours

- Multi-Cam Assembly: Ingest,



sync, and edit 3-angle long-form footage, shaping recordings into polished episodes and documentary-style narratives.
- Short-Form Content Strategy: Review full recordings, identify high-hook moments, and extract punchy clips optimized for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
- Dynamic Editing: Add modern post-production elements, including animated on-screen captions, energetic zooms/re-framing, sound design, and color correction.
- Project Thoughtfulness: Approach every project with creative intent—selecting angles and cuts that amplify the host's story and keep viewer retention high.

Qualifications
- Portfolio Required: Demonstrated experience with multi-cam editing and high-engagement short-form video (please submit reel/links with application).
- Software Proficiency: Mastery of Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro, along with familiarity with captioning toolflows (e.g., CapCut, Descript, or Auto-Sub plugins).
- Equipment Knowledge: Working knowledge of basic DSLR/mirrorless video cameras, XLR audio interfaces, and studio lighting setups - bring your expertise to us! Show us what we don't know.
- Interpersonal Skills: High energy, welcoming demeanor, and comfort interacting with high-profile podcast hosts and founders.
