Job Summary

Fettback & Heesterman is one of the fastest-growing electrical contractors in British Columbia, and we’re looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to take ownership of our warehouse operations, purchasing, inventory, material logistics, fleet support, and day-to-day office facility needs.

This is a hands-on role for someone who understands that a well-run warehouse is about much more than keeping shelves organized. Our project teams rely on having the right materials, tools, and equipment where they need them, when they need them, and this position will play a key role in making that happen.

The successful candidate will oversee the day-to-day operation of our Langley warehouse while working closely with suppliers, project managers, superintendents, and field teams to coordinate purchasing, inventory, deliveries, and overall material flow.

We’re looking for someone who takes ownership, solves problems, keeps things moving, and works well with a busy team.

And yes, you’ll probably have a lot of fun doing it too. Around here, that’s also part of the job.

Responsibilities

- Manage the day-to-day operation, organization, cleanliness, and efficiency of the warehouse
- Manage the company fleet, including new vehicle onboarding, fleet software and records, scheduled maintenance, servicing, repairs, and general vehicle administration.
- Manage and coordinate office service providers and vendors, including cleaning services, office supplies, food and beverage stocking, and other facility-related services
- Coordinate purchasing of electrical materials, tools, equipment and consumables for active projects
- Work directly with electrical wholesalers, manufacturers and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing and dependable delivery
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key vendors
- Review purchasing requirements and identify opportunities for better pricing, consolidation and purchasing efficiency




- Maintain accurate inventory levels and establish practical systems for receiving, storage, tracking and replenishment
- Receive incoming material and verify quantities, condition and accuracy against purchase orders
- Coordinate material staging and deliveries to project sites throughout the province
- Work closely with project managers, superintendents and foremen to understand upcoming material requirements and priorities
- Track tools, equipment and other company assets moving between the warehouse and project sites
- Maintain accurate purchasing, receiving and inventory records within our ERP system
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies involving purchase orders, invoices, deliveries or inventory
- Continuously improve warehouse layout, processes and material handling practices
- Maintain a clean, organized and safe warehouse setting

Experience

- Proven supervisory experience in warehouse management or logistics environments with a focus on team leadership.
- Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with ERP systems
- Knowledge of warehouse distribution processes, order picking techniques, and packaging procedures.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership qualities combined with outstanding communication skills to motivate teams and foster collaboration.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
