Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Welder/Fitter/Fabricator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling metal components to precise specifications, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and safety standards. Your expertise will contribute to the creation of durable structures, ductwork, and custom fabrication projects across various industries.

Duties
- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine fabrication requirements.
- Perform MIG (Metal Inert Gas) and TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding on various metals with precision and consistency.
- Use plasma cutting equipment, press brake machines, hand tools, power tools, and machining tools to shape and assemble metal parts.
- Measure materials accurately using calipers, tape measures, and other measuring devices; apply basic math skills for exact fabrication.
- Execute rigging tasks safely when lifting or positioning heavy components using cranes or forklifts.
- Fabricate ductwork, structural components, or custom assemblies in accordance with project specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols; inspect completed work for quality assurance.
- Assist with mechanical assembly processes and interpret schematics to ensure proper fitment of parts.
- Support construction-related projects by providing skilled welding and fitting services on-site or in the workshop.
Experience
- Proven experience in welding (MIG and TIG), fabrication, or manufacturing environments is highly preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings confidently.
- Hands-on experience with plasma cutting, press brake machines, hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment.
- Familiarity with rigging procedures, crane operations, forklift handling, and basic construction practices.
- Knowledge of ductwork fabrication, assembly techniques, and schematics interpretation is a plus.
- Ability to use calipers and other measuring tools accurately; basic math skills for precise measurements.
- Prior experience working with schematics for mechanical or structural systems in manufacturing or construction settings is advantageous.
