We’re looking for a warm, reliable, and engaging nanny to care for our 1-year-old son 2 days per week, with the potential to increase hours when I return to work in December. We are ideally looking for someone interested in a long-term position who can grow with our family.

We’d love to find someone who takes an active role in his development and enjoys incorporating Montessori-style learning and play into his day. Someone creative and proactive who can plan age-appropriate activities, sensory play, reading, outdoor time, and other fun learning opportunities would be a excellent fit.

We also want him to be able to get out and experience different activities, so having a reliable vehicle and valid driver’s licence is required. We can provide a car seat, and we’d love for his nanny to take him to things like library programs, playgroups, parks, classes, and other fun outings.

Responsibilities would include: Providing warm, attentive and nurturing childcare

Planning Montessori-inspired and developmentally appropriate activities
Taking him to outings and activities




Preparing healthy meals and snacks, and occasionally involving him in simple cooking/food-preparation activities
Child-related light housekeeping, including his dishes, laundry, and tidying his play areas

Feeding our two friendly dogs and taking them for one walk per day

We’re looking for someone who is dependable, caring, proactive, comfortable with dogs, and genuinely enjoys helping toddlers learn and explore. Experience with Montessori principles, early childhood education, or previous nanny experience would be a wonderful bonus.

Most importantly, we’re hoping to find someone who wants to build a long-term relationship with our family and become a consistent, trusted person in our son’s life.
