Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our logistics team. The Dispatcher will play a crucial role in coordinating the movement of freight, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining effective communication between drivers, clients, and other stakeholders. This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to analyze situations quickly to optimize operations within the supply chain.

Duties

- Manage daily dispatch operations by assigning routes and schedules to drivers.
- Utilize AS400 and SyteLine systems to track shipments and manage inventory.
- Communicate effectively with drivers regarding their assignments, providing updates on changes or delays.
- Analyze freight movements and optimize routes for efficiency.




- Maintain accurate records of all dispatch activities, including phone communications.
- Collaborate with third-party logistics (3PL) providers to ensure seamless operations.
- Respond promptly to inquiries from clients and internal teams, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
- Monitor performance metrics and suggest improvements for operational processes.

Pay: $60,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
