In business since 1994, 24 Carrots Bakery is a busy wholesale/retail bakery located in the north end of Halifax. We have an opening for a part time (leading to full time) Packager on our bread baking shift (2 to 3 night shifts per week).

Packaging involves slicing, bagging, and labeling fresh breads, buns, and rolls; and sorting orders for delivery to customers.

We are seeking a candidate with a preference for working back shift, excellent organizational skills, and works well as part of a team.

Position requirements:

- Previous experience working back shifts is preferred
- Experience working in a bakery or other food establishment is preferred
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks well and in a consistent manner
- Comfortable working in the heat
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Good numeracy skills
- Ability to walk/stand for long periods of time




- Ability to lift 25 lbs
- Current Food Handler Certificate considered an asset.
- Criminal Record Check will be required

Night shifts beginning at 8:00 - 9:00 PM, Monday, Thursday & Friday nights, depending on business levels. Weekends off.
