House of Dawn Steakhouse is seeking a polished, qualified, and guest-focused Host / Hostess to join our front-of-house team.

We are a fine dining steakhouse known for elevated service, warm hospitality, and refined ambiance. The host is the first and last impression of our restaurant — we’re looking for someone confident, organized, and genuinely welcoming.

Responsibilities
Greet guests warmly and manage reservations (OpenTable experience preferred)
Coordinate seating flow between front dining, back dining, and private rooms
Communicate effectively with servers and management
Handle guest inquiries professionally (in person and by phone)
Maintain entrance presentation and guest waiting area
Support FOH team during busy service

Qualifications




Previous host or restaurant experience preferred (fine dining experience is an asset)
Robust communication skills and professional demeanor
Ability to stay calm and organized during high-volume service
Weekend and evening availability required
Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
