We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to provide professional, evidence-informed foot care to help address a backlog of foot-care patients across community and residential settings in Ontario.
Qualifications
Current RN or RPN registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)
Formal education/training in advanced nursing foot care
Demonstrated competency in comprehensive foot assessment and routine/advanced foot-care procedures
Experience with diabetic, geriatric and/or high-risk foot care preferred
Knowledge of infection prevention and control, aseptic technique and instrument reprocessing
Ability to identify and appropriately escalate wounds, infection, vascular concerns, neuropathy and other conditions requiring referral
Current CPR/BLS certification
Professional liability insurance
Valid driver’s lisence and reliable transportation
Willingness and ability to travel throughout Ontario

A clinically confident and compassionate nurse who delivers high-quality,
evidence-informed foot care, maintains excellent documentation, and prioritizes prevention, patient education and timely referral.
Advanced foot-care education consistent with the CAFCN competency framework is strongly preferred.
This is a short-term project expected to run approximately 1–3 months, with the potential for versatile scheduling based on patient volume and project requirements.
Compensation
$55.00 per hour - $75.00 per hour, dependent on experience.
