Duties

- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring quick and precise entry
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Handle cash, process payments accurately, and manage cashiering duties with integrity
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas, tables, and service stations according to food safety regulations
- Assist in food handling and basic food preparation tasks as needed to support kitchen operations




- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service for all guests

Skills

- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, with a solid understanding of the food industry standards
- Proficiency with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, for efficient order processing and cash handling
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude that enhances guest experiences
- Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to multitask effectively while managing guest needs in a fast-paced setting
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with kitchen staff and team members seamlessly
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, billing, and order calculations
- Experience in upselling menu items to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring guest satisfaction
- Familiarity with restaurant operations including serving, food preparation support, and hospitality standards
