We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our construction team. Projects include residential new construction, renovations and agricultural buildings.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and follow project scope of work to guide construction activities.
- Construct and install frameworks, walls, floors, ceilings, doors, windows, siding, and other structural components using hand tools and power tools.
- Handle drywall installation and finishing to ensure smooth surfaces for painting or finishing.
- Painting
- Interior finishing and installation of hardware
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction or carpentry with a solid understanding of building processes.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, and power tools.
- Knowledge of finishing techniques, drywall installation, siding application, and woodworking.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout the workday.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail; ability to follow detailed instructions accurately.
- Projects vary in location and in rural areas. Must have own reliable transportation.

Pay: $28.00-$38.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
Education:
- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)
Experience:
- Carpentry: 4 years (required)
Language:
- English (required)
Licence/Certification:
- Class 5 Licence (required)
