Automotive, Rail and Transportation to Information Systems and Telecommunications, our unwavering commitment to excellence shaping the future of technology and industry.Job DescriptionDevelop and verify civil/structural design calculationAnalyze existing structures to support project executionProvide engineering justification for construction changesSupport field construction, including field change notices and design revisionsEnsure compliance with nuclear engineering standards (CSA S16, A23.3, N291, S136, S157)Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and junior staffResolve field issues and provide technical guidanceRequirementsMust-haves:Skilled Engineering Designation in Ontario (P.Eng.) or eligibility to obtainMinimum 5 years of nuclear experience (Bruce Power experience preferred)Nuclear Security ClearanceTechnical competency in civil/structural engineering (steel and concrete design)Ability to articulate technical arguments professionallyNice to have:Familiarity with nuclear design standards and proceduresProject engineering experience (asset but not required)Tools / software / methodology / certification:Knowledge of CSA S16, A23.3, N291, S136, S157 standardsExperience with design change notice (DCN) packagesFamiliarity with nuclear plant operations (training can be provided)Strong communication and interpersonal skillsProblem-solving and conflict resolutionAbility to work in a team and integrate well with existing staffWhy Join UsALTEN Canada fosters a dynamic, collaborative work environment where every team member is empowered to reach their full potential.
