Vortex Freight Systems is looking for a Bilingual Operations Manager to support terminal operations at our Dorval location. This crucial role focuses on LTL freight coordination, clerical tasks, and staff supervision. With a strong emphasis on leadership and operational knowledge, you’ll assist the Terminal Manager in daily activities and provide vital coverage during absences.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate daily LTL freight handling and operations • Operate forklifts safely according to established procedures • Handle clerical tasks including documentation and data entry • Support staff supervision for productive terminal workflow • Build and maintain strong working relationships
Requirements: • Minimum three years of LTL operations experience • Bilingual in English and French • Valid forklift license is an asset • Familiarity with TruckMate is preferred • Strong leadership and communication skills
