Take on a pivotal role as a Geotechnical Engineer overseeing site investigations for a current power line corridor. Covering sites from Walpole to Grimsby, travel and accommodations are fully supported.
We are looking for candidates with 3-5 years of hands-on experience to supervise Ground Investigations. You'll be responsible for ensuring the GI Contractor executes work according to client specifications, while providing daily reports on site progress and conditions. This role lasts for about 12 months, commencing at the beginning of September.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage Ground Investigation boreholes and setup • Ensure contractor's work aligns with specifications • Keep detailed daily logs of work completed • Communicate geological progress and groundwater information • Provide instruction to the GI Contractor based on client feedback
Requirements: • 3-5 years of site experience in geotechnical engineering • Proven experience with ground investigation techniques • Strong communication and documentation abilities • Willingness to travel across various sites • Background in power line projects is a plus
