As a Mobile Crisis Worker, you will collaborate with Timmins police officers to deliver culturally sensitive crisis support. This role requires strong assessment and intervention skills, with an emphasis on community resources and mental health assistance. You'll work as part of the Mobile Crisis Rapid Response Team to manage both frontline crises and emergency department support.
Key Responsibilities: • Conduct acute crisis assessments and interventions • Collaborate with police and community agencies • Coordinate services for clients in crisis • Maintain exemplary public relations in community outreach • Provide psychiatric emergency interventions
Requirements: • RN diploma/BSW with mental health certification • 5 years experience in mental health and addictions • Strong crisis intervention skills • Ability to communicate in English and French • Must work all shifts, including weekends
