RBC is looking for a Petroleum Engineering Technician to strengthen its Credit Risk Engineering team. This senior role involves analyzing oil and gas reserves to determine corporate lending values effectively.

You will collaborate with engineers and internal teams to manage data and support critical lending evaluations. The position demands acute analytical skills, especially in handling complex assignments and developing financial models for reserves. Your initiative will drive the technical adjustments needed for accurate credit assessments.

Key Responsibilities:



• Prepare data and financial materials for comprehensive analysis • Manage secure transfers of confidential reserves data • Analyze engineering reports to create lending models • Aid engineers in adjusting databases and scenarios • Develop and update essential engineering models

Requirements: • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office and reserves software • Strong experience in financial analysis and problem-solving • Knowledge of hedge instruments and risk strategies • Ability to work under tight deadlines • Nice-to-have: Experience with geoSCOUT software
