Engineering Analytics - Utilities or Transmission Job Description Our client is looking for Engineering Analytics / Data Analyst to join their team.
Must Have Primary Skills Bachelor’s degree in engineering, data analytics, computer science, mathematics,IT; or a relevant technical certificate or diploma; 4 years of project management experience, preferably in a constructionenvironment; Experience with utility construction in energized substations and knowledgeable inthe hazards and appropriate secure work practices; Thorough understanding and experience of foundation Project Managementprocesses and procedures aligned with the Project Management Body ofKnowledge; and
Nice To Have Secondary Skills Project Management Professional (PMP) designation is highly desirable.
Proven Experience In The Data Analyst is accountable for coordinating the delivery of assigned projects andsupporting a team of Project Managers in the delivery of all aspects of a project frominception through to close out, including cost and schedule monitoring, scheduling crews,contract management, HSE reporting,
quality management coordinating regulatorydeliverables and records management. Data standards, governance support & documentation: Support data governance practices by documenting business rules, workflows, anddata quality procedures; maintaining reference libraries;defining/monitoring/monitoring data quality KPIs; and preparing validated dataoutputs for audits, reporting, or regulatory needs. Process optimization, automation & user enablement:Improve and sustain data collection and maintenance processes through workflowoptimization and automation where feasible; provide user guidance/trainingmaterials and coaching to improve data practices; and support downstreamreporting/analytics by ensuring underlying data structures are fit-for-purpose.
