This full-time position within the Development Services Division supports comprehensive planning strategies and builds community engagement. Reporting to the Manager, your responsibilities include managing staff and ensuring effective coordination with various agencies. Candidates will need a proven track record in planning and a passion for community services.

Key Responsibilities:



• Supervise planning operations for community development • Train and manage staff for optimal performance • Collaborate with Land Use Services and external stakeholders • Ensure efficient processing of development applications • Maintain planning standards and compliance

Requirements: • University degree in related field plus a graduate degree • Minimum of five years’ experience in local government • Certification with Canadian Institute of Planners required • Two years’ experience mentoring and supervising staff • Valid Class 5 BC Driver's Licence
