This position at St Joseph's Hospital is aimed at delivering comprehensive support to clients facing addiction or related challenges. The ideal candidate will leverage their Chemical Dependency diploma and skills in assessments, workshops, and interventions. You will work within Community Addiction Services in a full-time temporary role, with shifts during the day and a workload of 224 hours over six weeks.
Key Responsibilities:
• Restore and enhance clients' recovery through various modalities • Implement addiction recovery programs tailored to individual needs • Conduct screenings and assessments utilizing best practices • Deliver workshops and educational material to clients • Maintain accurate client reporting per professional standards
Requirements: • Diploma in Chemical Dependency • Valid Class 5 driver's license • Strong organizational and communication skills • Knowledge of HIPA and the Child and Family Service's Act • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
