Job Description We are seeking a candidate who is qualified for the role Quality Manufacturing Engineering with direct, hands-on experience applying and maintaining quality programs under CSA B51, CSA N285, and CSA N299 standards. In this role, compliance with these specific codes will form the foundation of your day-to-day responsibilities. You will act as a primary technical authority on quality metrics, GD&T;, non-conformances (CAPA), and regulatory compliance for our pressure boundary and nuclear manufacturing operations. The hours will typically be Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.
Base salary:$65,000 - $95,000 / year

Typical Duties Include (but are not limited to):
Ensure daily manufacturing operations and quality documentation comply with regulatory, customer, and code requirements (CSA B51, CSA N285, and CSA N299)
Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) for product or process non-conformances within a regulated pressure boundary/nuclear environment
Support manufacturing through process capability studies, control plans, Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), and continuous improvement initiatives
Conduct internal, supplier, and customer audits to verify adherence to quality standards; participate in external regulatory audits
Partner with engineering, operations, and shop-floor teams to update quality documentation, inspection criteria, and written operating procedures
Analyze quality metrics using ERP systems, Excel,
and dedicated quality tools to provide regular reports and strategic recommendations to management
Key Skill Requirements:
Strong knowledge of quality systems and root cause analysis methodologies
Solid proficiency interpreting engineering drawings and applying Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T;)
Proficiency in using MS Excel, MS Word, and other quality tools and software such as ERP
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to influence across departments
Detail-oriented and self-motivated with a continuous improvement mindset
Flexibility to work on tasks in parallel and adapt when priorities change
Ability to develop written procedures and instructions in collaboration with manufacturing and QA requirements
Key Experience/Education:
2–5 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing quality role where CSA B51, CSA N285, and/or CSA N299 standards were a main component of your daily responsibilities
Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Quality, or a related Engineering discipline
Hands-on experience using ERP software, MS Excel, MS Word, and root cause methodology tools
Direct experience participating in or supporting external regulatory/customer audits
Experience with ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code considered an asset
CQE (Certified Quality Engineer) or related certification considered an asset
Awareness of ISO 9001
