The Role You will work with a team of tradespeople to proactively maintain equipment helping the site to operate safely and efficiently. As a team member, you will make data driven decisions, follow your processes and collaborate with others to make improvements as opportunities are identified. In this role, you will: Perform predictive and preventative maintenance checks on a regular basis to ensure safe and reliable production. Install and maintain all measurement and control systems including DCS/PLC, flowmeters, pH transmitters, density gauges, pressure transmitters, level transmitters and online analyzers. Troubleshoot equipment failures and document repairs. Required: grade 12 diploma or equivalent; interprovincial red seal or Instrumentation Engineering Technology Diploma; up to three years of directly related work experience in an industrial or mine environment; ability to work in a team environment; and work a rotation schedule and commute to site by aircraft. Recommended: experience with Delta V DCS and/or Schneider PLC systems; experience with SAP; troubleshooting experience would be an asset; and experience with various instrumentation programming and configuration software. Conditions of Employment: trade verification; and pre-employment substance test.
