Join The Royal in Brockville as a Registered Practical Nurse focused on forensic mental health. This part time role involves delivering critical care to patients in need.

As part of the Forensic Treatment Unit, you will provide specialized mental health services to individuals involved in the justice system. We are looking for qualified candidates with a Practical Nursing diploma and current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario. Your ability to foster therapeutic relationships and work collaboratively will be key to your success.

Key Responsibilities:



• Assess and treat forensic patients with care • Conduct vital signs and medication administration • Manage catheterization and basic wound care • Engage with patients to build therapeutic relations • Participate actively in an inter-disciplinary team

Requirements: • Diploma in Practical Nursing from a recognized program • Valid registration with College of Nurses of Ontario • Current CPR/AED Certification • Preferred: Two years’ psychiatric/mental health nursing experience • Computer proficiency and effective communication skills
