Become a vital part of Seabird Island as a Recovery Home Support Worker focused on enhancing client participation and safety. Engage in community activities while providing culturally informed support and crisis intervention.

In this term position, working Monday to Friday from 4:00 pm to 12:00 am, you will assist clients facing mental health and addiction challenges. Your role will involve daily living support, developing coping strategies, and connecting clients with community services. You will also foster positive relationships by encouraging social interactions and supervising household responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:



• Provide crisis support and report to the supervisor • Maintain ethical standards and skilled conduct • Update client records in Mustimuhw database • Assist clients with household tasks and responsibilities • Support clients in social situations and community activities

Requirements: • 2 years of relevant experience in Indigenous communities • Education in social services or related field • Food Safe Level 1 certification required • Current First Aid and Mental Health certifications • Valid class 5 driver's license for client transport
