We seek a full-time Sourcing Manager to oversee category strategies for essential ingredient commodities. Reporting directly to the Director of Procurement, you will enhance supply continuity, implement strategic negotiations, and drive cost savings. By leveraging market intelligence and supplier relationships, you'll ensure optimal sourcing outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and evolve sourcing strategies for ingredient commodities • Monitor commodity markets and pricing trends • Execute forward-buy and index-based pricing strategies • Lead supplier negotiations and regional sourcing events • Manage supplier performance and corrective action planning
Requirements: • Minimum 5+ years in purchasing/sourcing • Post-secondary education in Supply Chain or Business • Proficiency with ERP systems, ideally SAP • Solid analytical and negotiation skills • Experience with commodity markets and hedging instruments
