Job DescriptionSenior Assessor (Ontario) role at BGIS. The Building Condition Assessor II applies building condition assessment processes and technical standards in conducting (specialized) asset assessments for the purpose of identifying asset condition and deficiencies.Key Duties & ResponsibilitiesApplies knowledge of building condition assessment processes and technical standards in conducting asset assessments, annual building inspections and other specialized asset assessmentsConducts asset condition assessmentsIdentifies and evaluates specialized asset component and systems conditions and deficienciesCompletes asset assessment condition reports utilizing asset assessment management softwareProvides recommendations and cost estimates for building envelopes, components and systems repair or replacement for inclusion in the capital budget planLeads scheduling and coordinates site activitiesOther duties as assignedKnowledge & SkillsUniversity degree in relevant field such as architectural, civil, mechanical electrical engineering, building science or building engineering3-5 Years of relevant work experienceEnrolled in EIT or P.Eng (asset)General knowledge of technical standards and processes in completing building condition assessments,
