Top Notch Carpentry is looking for an experienced Carpenter to join our team!

Located in Sherwood Park, Alberta, we are a family-owned business offering renovation and general contracting services in the Edmonton area. From complete residential renovations to commercial projects, and maintenance projects every day is something current.

We are looking for candidates who can commit to full-time employment Monday-Friday. Our work is primarily done in the Edmonton and surrounding area. Although a lot of our work is done indoors some outdoor work may be required.

In this role you will be responsible for:
Working alongside an apprentice, providing guidance on how to complete projects /tasks properly and efficiently
Completing various renovation tasks including, all finishing work, cabinet installations, installation of flooring including vinyl plank and hardwood, installation of exterior and interior doors, window installation
Preparing and planning materials required for tasks and projects
Coordinating with sub-trades to ensure all timelines are met

Qualifications and Skills
A journeyperson carpenter certification is not required but is preferred,



we are looking for someone experienced in all things related to residential renovations
Comfortable with kitchen, bathroom and whole home renovations
Basic knowledge of other trades an asset
Able to work alone or with others and exhibit leadership skills
Customer service focused, able to communicate with clients in a skilled and polite manner
Safety-focused with the ability to identify any possible risks to ensure work is completed in a safe manner
Reliable and dependable, punctual and ready to work

Other Requirements
Candidates are required to supply their own hand tools
Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license
