Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Practical Nurse to join our healthcare team. As a Registered Practical Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing quality resident care and ensuring the well-being of residents at client sites. This position offers prospects to work in various healthcare settings, including long term care homes, assisted living facilities, and home care.

Duties:
Perform comprehensive assessments of residents' health status
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
Monitor residents' conditions and report any changes or concerns to the Charge Nurse, MD/Nurse Practitioner
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records using electronic health record systems such as Pointclickcare(PCC)
Provide emotional support to patients and their families during challenging times
Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control measures

Experience:
Minimum of 1 year of experience in LTC settings
Experience in medication administration and management




Familiarity with dementia care, wound care, falls prevention and management and use of restraints.

Skills:
Robust clinical skills and ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in using electronic health record systems such as Pointclickcare(PCC)
