We are seeking a agile and dedicated Class 1 Truck Driver to join our transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating heavy-duty trucks to transport freight across various routes, ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism.
Responsibilities
Safely operate Class 1 trucks to transport freight over long and short distances, adhering strictly to traffic laws and safety regulations
Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, including checking brakes, lights, tires, and load security
Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, pickups, and vehicle logs in compliance with company policies and legal requirements
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and clients to coordinate pickup and delivery schedules
Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting as needed to ensure vehicle reliability and safety
Requirements
Valid Class 1 commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
Proven experience in commercial driving and heavy equipment operation
Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety protocols
Basic automotive repair skills for troubleshooting minor vehicle issues
Physical stamina to load/unload freight and perform inspections regularly
Strong communication skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate record keeping and protected operations
Pay: $24.00-$26.00 per hour
