Discovery Acres Recovery & Wellness is seeking a passionate and energetic Yoga Instructor to inspire and guide male individuals on their Recovery and Wellness journey. In this role, you will lead engaging yoga classes, promote physical and mental well-being, and foster a healing setting for adult males between the ages of 17 and 65. Your enthusiasm and leadership will help clients achieve their health goals while experiencing the transformative power of yoga. Duties
Lead dynamic and inclusive yoga classes tailored to diverse skill levels and needs
Demonstrate proper techniques, postures, breathing exercises, and meditation practices
Provide personalized guidance and modifications to ensure safety and effectiveness
Foster a positive, inspiring atmosphere that encourages participant engagement and confidence
Communicate clearly in English.
Maintain class schedules, manage time effectively,
and ensure smooth session flow
Offer exceptional client service by addressing participant questions and feedback with professionalism
Promote the benefits of yoga for physical health, mental clarity, emotional balance, healing and recovery from Addiction.
Experience
Proven experience as a Yoga Instructor or teacher with a strong understanding of various yoga styles
Proficiency in English; solid communication skills are essential
Demonstrated ability to lead classes confidently while maintaining client safety and avoidance of injury.
Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on client service and community building
Leadership qualities that inspire trust, motivate participants, and foster a supportive environment
Prior teaching experience in wellness or fitness settings is preferred but not mandatory; certification from a recognized yoga training program is a plus
Pay: $120.00 per week
