Position Overview
Mona's Sodas is looking for a dependable and motivated Key Holder to help support daily operations. As a Key Holder, you'll help open and close the store, support team members, and ensure customers have a fun, fast, and friendly experience.
The position is a part-time position that requires weekday availability. You must be available for Wednesdays and Thursdays at minimum. Employment can start immediately.
Key Responsibilities
Opening & Closing
Open and/or close the store
Count cash drawers and handle basic cash procedures
Ensure the store is clean, stocked, and ready for business
Follow opening and closing checklists
Customer Experience
Deliver friendly, fast, and welcoming service
Maintain Mona's Sodas' fun, family-friendly atmosphere
Assist customers with menu questions and recommendations
Help keep lines moving during peak hours
Operations Support
Monitor supplies and restock as needed
Maintain cleanliness of counters, equipment, and dining area
Follow food safety and cleanliness standards
Assist with receiving deliveries when needed
Qualifications
Previous customer service or food service experience an asset
Solid reliability and punctuality
Comfortable taking initiative and leading small teams
Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Good communication and problem-solving skills
Physical Requirements
Standing for extended periods
Lifting up to 30 lbs (ice, syrups, supplies)
Working in a fast-paced environment
